Things are coming along great with my new band "The Edmund Allan Brown Band"!  I couldn't be more pleased with the progress we're making. It's taken me a while to find the right musicians but think I did it!  And what a great bunch of guys they are. It's nice to work with talented people who are truly down to earth good folks! I've been working with the band "East Coast Stroke", A Tower of Power  tribute band. For those of you who don't know of TOP, they were and are the best horn group of all time.  A blend of funk and soul. Cool, fun music. And if you don't like that... get the funk out :) 
 East Coast Stroke is the brainchild of Kurt Nigh, who  is not only a fantastic horn player in his own right, but one of the nicest musicians I've had a chance to work with. He's  amazingly managed to put together a group of top notch area musicians for this project which, believe me, was no easy task! Getting an 11 piece band together takes a lot of hard work and scheduling magic, but it's been well worth the effort. ECS promises to be a must see performance and is booking shows as I write this...stay tuned
